6 Days To Becoming A Kingdom DiscipleНамуна
Discipleship is an experience God wants you to have. Any cook knows you need the right ingredients if you want something being prepared to turn out right, and if you don’t follow the recipe, it may not taste all that good. Sometimes, Christians focus on education and knowledge. Other times they focus on musical worship. Still other times they focus on fellowship, outreach, or church growth. All of those focus points are ingredients in a cake called discipleship. When you put each of those items inside and you then you bake it, what comes out is nothing short of delicious. Taste it.
God wants to prepare your life in a similar way. He wants you to have the full experience by giving you all the ingredients necessary for you to serve Him at the highest possible level. Consider the story of Gideon, when an angel from God told him to “take the meat and the unleavened bread and lay them on this rock, and pour out the broth” (Judges 6:20). God was preparing to reveal Himself to Gideon, but what do you suppose would have happened if he didn’t follow the recipe as instructed? He would never have had a living experience with the almighty God, and he would never have tasted the destiny that God had prepared for him.
If you desire to have an experience with the living God, I recommend following His commandments. That is the benefit of obedience; by doing what He says, you will see, taste and hear more of God in your daily life.

About this Plan
A disciple in the kingdom of God is one who chooses to be more than just a fan of Jesus Christ. They commit themselves to taking up their cross, denying themselves, and following Him. This commitment is not an easy one and it is not a short one, but it is rich with God’s reward. Join Tony Evans as he uncovers what it means to follow Jesus, no turning back.
