The Biblical Benefit Of HindsightНамуна
Words from Jesus himself, three simple cause-and-effect phrases to hold on to. And none of them onerous: ‘ask’, ‘seek’ and ‘knock’. No aerobic workout in any of these! And yet, what rewards for doing any or all of them! For those still seeking, these words provide a wonderful encouragement and promise; the verb used is ‘will’, not ‘possibly’, or ‘might’, but ‘will’. We can all hold on to this guarantee from Jesus.
Have you ever set out to find something but doubted whether you would or not?
Pray: Dear Lord, thank you for your promise that whoever seeks will find. Help us to maintain a constant sense of asking, seeking and knocking as we strengthen our relationship with you. Amen.

About this Plan
The irritating benefit of hindsight is that it is often easier to see why we should have listened to biblical wisdom when we suffer through trials and difficulties. The one thing I keep learning is that the wisdom was there all along; I just needed to look for it. It is one thing to have faith in your head. It is quite another to live out that faith in your heart, day by day.
