Galatians 3-4

Dear reader,

I’m sitting at my favorite coffee shop as I write this. Life is happening all around me in this coffee shop. The warm, bitter/sweet scent of coffee fills the atmosphere, and conversations are happening in various corners of this room. It’s alive in here.

If you stop to notice, there is life happening all around you.

It all begs me to ask a question:

Why another day of life for me?

Why am I breathing right now?

Galatians 3:14 states that “Through Christ Jesus, God has blessed the Gentiles with the same blessing he promised to Abraham so that we who are believers might receive the promised Holy Spirit through faith.”

We are alive today to know God and to be known by Him. This can only happen through His Spirit, through faith. You and I have another day of life to discover the depths of God, all because Jesus took the curse of the law, fulfilling all of its requirements, so that you and I could receive His very Spirit.

Thank you, indwelling Holy Spirit, for living inside of us now. You are real life.

Prayer: Jesus, I thank you for hanging on a tree for me. You didn’t have to, but You chose to. Your decision and commitment changed my life forever. Holy Spirit, thank you for living in me. Thank you for revealing to me the depths of God. Have Your way in my life. Apart from You, I cannot do anything. I love You. In Your precious name I pray. Amen.
