YOU CAN'T BE DEFEATED

Today’s promise is one of my favorites. How many times do we feel like our tests are going to take us out? When we have this feeling, today’s scripture is the one to stand on. Although weapons form and try to come against us, God says they won’t succeed. That means whatever tests we face in life, none of them are capable of defeating us, no matter what it looks like in the natural. However, we can give away our power and let them win, and that’s exactly what the enemy wants.

The devil is our accuser. The Bible says he accuses us before God day and night (Revelation 12:10). However, God said we will silence every voice raised up to accuse us. Instead of accepting defeat when weapons form against us, we have to silence them with the Word of God. The Word of God is more powerful than anything the enemy tries to turn against us. If we use God’s Word to fight, the weapons can’t succeed, and victory will certainly be ours. This is the benefit of serving God. We are guaranteed victory every time if we use the right weapon.

Think about the weapon that’s rising up against you now. What are you going to do? Will you let it succeed, or will you pick up your weapon and claim victory? Will you silence the voices that accuse you, or will you let those voices tear you down? That breakup is a weapon that formed against you, but it won’t succeed if you use your weapon. The lies the enemy tells you about why that man left, you not being good enough, or why you can’t keep a man are all weapons formed against you, but they won’t succeed if you use your weapon. The power is in your hands. Will you use it?

Declare: I will not allow any weapon that forms against me to succeed. I will silence any voice that tries to condemn me because of my past or tries to limit my future. I am a servant of God, and He will vindicate me.
