Refresh: 21 Days of Prayer & FastingChikamu
Exodus 23:25 (NIV) “Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you.”
In Mark 4, Jesus likened the Word of God to a seed. Just like a seed must be planted, watered and cared for in order to grow properly, so does God’s Word. The way to water and fertilize the seed of God’s Word is by meditating on it, speaking it often, and acting on it. This process assures the growth, development, and the manifestation of God’s promise.
Exodus 23:25 guarantees God will take sickness away from you. Your job regarding this verse is to believe it by rehearsing it in your mind and saying it with your mouth, often.
“Worship the LORD your God, and His blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you.”
Basic English – And give worship to the LORD your God, who will send a blessing on your bread and on your water; and I will take all disease away from among you.
Moffatt, Smith, and Goodspeed Translations – …I will free you from disease.
Think about and make the following affirmation of faith on a regular basis, based on the above verse:
“I will is the strongest assertion made in the English language. God says to me, ‘I will free you from disease.’ God is watching over His Word and is performing it in me now. He is taking sickness away from the midst of me. I serve and worship the Lord my God who takes sickness away from the midst of me. Good-bye sickness, the Lord is taking you away from the midst of me. Thank you, Lord, for taking sickness away from me. I thank you for doing what You said.”
Can you visualize and believe God is taking sickness away from you?
Think about how you will look and feel when sickness is all gone.
“I have come that you might have life, and that you might have it more abundantly” (John 10:10).
