The woman who had the issue of blood had tried everything to find a cure! For 12 years, she had painstakingly tried everything she could but was not cured. In fact, she had become worse. She had heard of Jesus and said to herself, “If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.” She came behind the many people that were swarming Jesus and reached out to touch His garment. What great faith! She believed, and her belief led her to do something in faith. Immediately, she was healed. Many people were touching Jesus, but the healing virtue went out from Him only when she reached out in faith. “And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.” May we have the faith to reach out and touch the hem of His garment, that we might experience the spiritual healing we so desperately need.
