It's Time to Plant

DAY 7 OF 10

Seventh And Eighth Law.

You Always Harvest More Than You Plant. This principle will either work for you (and I pray it does), or it will work against you, depending on what kind of seeds you choose to plant. The Bible says Isaac planted seeds where he was living, and that year, he gathered a hundred-fold harvest from what he planted because the Lord blessed him. Think about it: if you get a hundred-fold harvest of the seeds you are sowing now, will that advance or destroy your future? Again, the question is, what kind of seeds are you planting? Some of us have become awakened to the reality of the effects and power of seeds. And this can be a great thing if you take the right steps to plant the right seeds going forward. Set your ways right, put your house in order, and sow good seeds.

It is deception to think that you can continue to tear people down and expect that your life will be in order. Why? You will reap exactly what you plant, and harvest is always more than seed. It is also deception for you to think that you will be serving God the way you are serving God, and your life will not be better. Your children will be better off. Your children will prosper.

You Can Increase Your Harvest By Planting More Seeds. For example, if you are receiving a harvest of kindness, you can increase the harvest by planting more seeds of kindness. This is also known as the Law of Proportion. Proverbs 11:24 “The world of the generous gets larger and larger; the world of the stingy gets smaller and smaller.” (MSG). You can influence your harvest. It is your choice. So, what is it going to be? What do you want?

What seeds are you planting?
What harvest do you need to increase?

Take 5: Talk to God in prayer about your takeaway from today’s reading.

About this Plan

It's Time to Plant

Right from the beginning, in the creation story, God shows us a pattern which contains a huge lesson. And this lesson continues throughout the Bible. Jesus shows up on the scene and points to this same lesson. As long as heaven remains, seed time and harvest will continue. This plan focuses on seed, planting, and watering. A key principle of the kingdom of God and therefore, to every believer after God’s heart.
