DAY 4 OF 7

Eternal

When God wanted to create man, He created and desired an eternal relationship with man. He wanted eternal children who would choose Him, adore Him, obey Him, and who He could relate to and with for all eternity.

He chose to create time for His children. Adam was created for eternity. Remember, physical death is a consequence of sin (Romans 6:23). God warned Adam in Genesis 2:17 that if he ate of the tree, he would surely die.

God’s design of Adam was for eternity. God’s desire for Adam was eternity. God desires an eternal relationship beyond time for all His children. The scripture is clear God’s desire is that all would be saved.

God, even after the fall of Adam, signaled to the future to redeem mankind. Christ has come to restore that eternal opportunity to spend not just our life in time with the Father, but for us to be with Him and worship Him for all eternity.

You see God wasn’t creating a pet, but a child in His own image that could intentionally and willingly want to spend time with his heart.

God delights in us! In time we get to start to experience our design for an eternal relationship with God through Christ Jesus.

I love that I am loved in time by the Father. I also love that He wants to love me beyond time. You are totally indestructible. You were made by design by an eternal God for an eternal relationship.
