What Was I Made For?Sample
Everyone worries about something. Maybe it’s an upcoming test or quiz, something someone said, or a new experience you’re not sure about. It happens to everyone! The good news? Scripture reminds us that we have a choice when it comes to our worries: We can choose to be bothered by the things we can’t control, or we can invite God into them with us. God tells us that it’s not by worrying that we’ll experience peace; when we pray and remember what God has done for us, we can find peace. We weren’t made to carry our worries on our own, and thankfully, God is there to carry them for us. Without the weight of those things on our shoulders, we can live more freely as the people we’re made to be.
Today, write down a list of things you’re worried about right now. Once you’re done, write this verse on top of it. Let it be a physical reminder of how God carries and covers our worries for us.
