You Are Gifted: Devotions From Time of GraceSample
Your Heavenly Home: In heaven we will be healed
There are times when life really seems good--but then reality crashes in. Why is it that so many aspects of human life are so sick? Why must people be so cruel, jealous, crabby, embittered, and racist to each other?
Jesus Christ came to our sick world to help us find healing in him. Through the forgiveness that he brings, the healing begins.
St. John was allowed to see symbolically a whole new way of living. In Revelation he describes life in heaven: “On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations” (Revelation 22:2). Yes, Christ heals all wounds and forgives all sins.
