Your Heavenly Home: We will be safe
One thing that makes life miserable is being insecure. I don’t mean just being insecure about how you look. I mean literally lacking safety--that you live in fear of being robbed, stalked, assaulted, molested, or raped. One of the best features of heaven is that we will be safe with Jesus. Completely safe. Joyfully safe. Forever.
The Bible, in Psalm 23, says this about what God is getting ready in heaven: “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies . . . and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever” (verses 5,6).
In other words, in God’s new world we will never again know fear and insecurity because all threats, all enemies, will never again touch our lives.
