Who Is God: Devotions From Time of GraceSample
He takes a personal interest in me
Bob Seger has a song that tells about being a nobody: “I feel like a number, feel like a number.” Do you know that song? Do you know that feeling? The world has many, many ways of making us feel insignificant and unimportant.
One of the things I love about God is that he takes a personal interest in me, little me. And he’s not merely watching me, but he actually intervenes in my life at just the right times to make it better. The Lord says to you and me in Psalm 50, “Call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me” (verse 15).
Call him up today; his operators are standing by.
