Run Your Race 

When Dr. Billy Graham was ministering in America, he got an invitation to preach in London. All the newspapers in London published adverse comments about his arrival under the caption, “Billy Graham brings to London the holy water from America.” The words were discouraging but he invited some of his close friends to his house and they prayed together. Suddenly, he heard a thunderous sound accompanied by a strong wind. He also heard the sound of leaves flying in the wind. At that time, he was filled with a glorious power. He then understood that God had taken the responsibility to subdue all the opposition that had been risen against him and he started to wholeheartedly praise God. Though there were oppositions for the meetings, the auditorium overflowed with people on the very first day itself and the gospel was preached to many. 

Yes my friend, when adverse things happen, look up to God. He will fill you with His strength. This is how Billy Graham was victorious in his ministry. He ran for God with that strength and fulfilled the commission. Are you tired of running for your family, ministry and job? Stay quiet in His presence and receive His strength. You will fulfil God’s will just like Elijah and Billy Graham. 

Prayer

“Loving heavenly Father, I am tired of running this race. I come before You with all my fears and failures. I plead with You to fill me with Your divine strength. Let Your will be done through me. I break the bondage of the devil that holds me back in Jesus’ name and I take victory. Amen.”
