God's ImitatorsSample
You reflect Jesus
Before you continue with this devotion, I want you to run to the nearest mirror and look at yourself. (I mean it. Go right now. I'll wait.)
Thanks for doing that. Now, this is going to sound like a dumb question, but who did you see in the mirror?
You? Wrong!
You didn't see you; you saw Jesus. Weird, isn't it?
But it's true! When Jesus came to earth, He lived His whole life for you. He never disobeyed His parents for you, never did anything wrong for you, and He chose to die on a cross--for you. It truly was not His fault, but Jesus said, "Punish me, not them." Then He rose from the dead to make you part of God's family, which means you get to claim His victory as yours.
As Jesus' brothers and sisters, "All of us reflect the Lord's glory with faces that are not covered with veils, we are being changed into His image with ever-increasing glory" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
That's right, because of your faith, you look just like Jesus. And everyone who sees you sees the glory of God.
Go check the mirror again.
