Depend on God for All Your Needs
Jesus teaches us to ask God for what we need—daily. It’s a simple but powerful reminder that we depend on God not just for spiritual strength, but for every practical need we face. He wants us to come to Him daily, not just when things get desperate.
God is not just a backup plan—He is our first and best source of provision. From food on the table to peace in our hearts, He is able and willing to provide.
Too often, we exhaust our energy looking elsewhere for help—people, resources, or even our own abilities—before finally turning to God. But He invites us to come to Him first, with even the smallest request.
He’s not distant or indifferent. He sees what you need and cares deeply. Each day, He provides the strength, wisdom, and resources necessary for you to walk through life in faith. Trusting Him for your daily needs builds a life of dependency rooted in relationship, not just routine.
Respond to God’s Word:
What do you need today? Take a moment to ask God. Bring your needs before Him with confidence, knowing He hears you and is faithful to provide. He’s your daily Provider.
About this Plan

Sometimes we don’t think we can learn anything else from something in particular because we’re so familiar with it. The disciples of Jesus were familiar with prayer. They must have heard countless people pray in their life. But when they saw Jesus praying, they were teachable enough to ask him, “Lord, teach us to pray.” Sometimes thinking you have it all figured out will keep you from truly figuring it out. Step into this prayer with a receptive heart and see how God brings you to a fuller understanding of His teaching.
