Why People Lose the KingdomSample

REBELLION AGAINST GOD
MAIN IDEAS
• This parable is directed towards the people of Israel and its religious leaders, who were the beneficiaries of a Great Favor from God.
• In the end, the favor of the Old Covenant does not ensure the Salvation of this people, who put themselves in opposition to God, due to their disobedience.
• In the end, God sent His Son, who was also met with opposition, mockery, hate, and finally, death on the Cross.
• The Kingdom was taken from them and given to those who received it with faith and willingness.
This parable is aimed directly at the people of Israel who, despite benefiting from being chosen, from a Special Covenant and God’s Special Assistance, chose to systematically oppose God and ended up killing JESUS, the Son of GOD.
The teaching of this parable is that someone can benefit from the Greatest Grace, Calling, and Gifts, but these will still not guarantee his Salvation if his heart is hardened and he opposes GOD through his disobedience. Surely, the opposition from the people of Israel brought us – Gentiles – a Great Blessing, since we got to benefit from JESUS’ Grace. Nevertheless, due to His COVENANT and His Love, GOD promises He will be back to get the remnant of the people of Israel.
