God’s Reflection

Have you ever seen a beautiful painting but caught a glimpse of what it looked like in the process of becoming beautiful? Sometimes, the most beautiful things seem messy in the beginning, but they still have a well-thought-out plan that leads to an absolutely stunning result in the end. At first, the painting may not make sense, but over time, it transforms into the gorgeous portrait that it is supposed to become, and the results are stunning.

Sometimes, in our lives, the process of becoming who we were made to be does not always make sense or look organized. But masterpieces are not completed overnight. They take time, dedication, and a skilled artist. A painting can’t just form by itself; it needs a painter. The painter has a plan and works tirelessly to form the masterpiece into the result it was intended to be. He has a plan in mind. A dedicated painter does not give up, regardless of mistakes, time, and negativity about his work. In the same way, God is our painter, and He is loyal to His children. He is continually shaping us into who He created us to be. He will not give up on you, regardless of mistakes or bumps you may think will ruin the beauty of the painting. Even in the deepest pit of pain and the messiest of situations, only God can bring beauty out of it.

You are God’s reflection, a mirror of His image. We reflect our Creator. We reflect the beauty of our Lord and Savior. We reflect something bigger than us. And the beautiful thing about it is that we all have different gifts and callings on our lives to reflect Him in a different and distinct way. But at the core of our being, we are created to reflect our glorious Father. God is writing your story.
