God Is Writing Your StorySample

Jesus is the Answer
Jesus is your answer. He is your answer to your pain, your overwhelming situation, your difficult season, your heartbreak, and anything else that you can name. He is your answer. He always has been, and He always will be. Jesus gives of who He is. Jesus gives love, peace, joy, and hope because He IS love, peace, joy, and hope. No matter what you are facing, no problem is too big, no pain too great that the Lord can not rescue you from.
When we feel hopeless, remember that He is our hope. Even if our circumstances don't change or the pain lingers on, our hope is in the Lord. Our hope is in Him alone. Our hope is in the One who has the power to silence the storms at His command. Our hope is in the One who calms our souls in the storms that surround us.
When you feel anxious about what your future holds, remember He is the God of peace. Our life can be in chaos, but our mind doesn't have to be. Having peace through a storm does not take away the fact that the storm is still raging strong. It simply gives you hope and assurance that you will be OK and you are not alone. The Lord’s peace will rest your mind and heart in the midst of a season of chaos or distress.
When we feel like we are losing the strength to endure, God is our strength. One evening, I passed out, and I thought I could walk on my own afterward, but I couldn’t. I was so weak and numb from exhaustion that my dad had to carry me. I tried to take one step, but quickly realized I did not have the capability to go any further. My dad caught me in my stumble before I could have collapsed on the floor and made the situation worse. He picked me up as a daddy would when their child is in trouble or needs help. He took the burden off of me, trying to walk when I knew I didn’t have the strength. It wasn’t that I was intentionally pushing Him away, but I thought I could do it on my own. The reality was I couldn’t, and I needed my daddy to carry me. When we become exhausted from this daunting task called life, we need God’s strength. He catches us in our stumble before we fall on our faces. When we are weak, He is strong. When we are tired, He is our fortress, a place of rest.
I want to encourage you not to push God away from the areas in your life where you need Him to restore your capacity. Let Him swoop you up in His arms and relieve you of the stress of having to do it on your own. You don’t have to do it all on your own, and truthfully, you can’t. We all need our Heavenly Father.
The Lord will redeem your pain with a bountiful harvest. It can be tempting to turn to other things to mend your pain, but it will only mask the pain and deepen your despair. Jesus is not a coping mechanism; He is your permanent healer. God does not temporarily mask or numb your pain, but He will heal it. Remember that Jesus was human and knew what it felt like to experience hurt and sadness. He does not judge; he understands. You have access to the truest healing and peace in the Lord. He is greater than all your problems. His love for you is greater; therefore, he is the only one who can heal them.
