The Strength of WeaknessSample

Elijah: the prophet who doubted his calling
Elijah is one of the most daring prophets in the Bible, but his story also shows us his moments of fear and doubt. He lived at a time when Israel was ruled by King Ahab and his wicked wife, Jezebel, who had led the people to worship the god Baal. Elijah, determined to counter idolatry, proclaimed that there would be no rain or dew on the earth except by his word. His prophecy came true, and the famine that followed was the prelude to a dramatic confrontation with the prophets of Baal.
Elijah, full of courage, challenged the 450 prophets of Baal to a meeting on Mount Carmel. He asked God to respond with fire from heaven, proving that the only true God was the Lord. God responded miraculously, sending a fire that consumed Elijah's burnt offering, while the prophets of Baal failed miserably. After this amazing victory, Elijah prayed in faith, and the rain began to fall on the earth again.
Despite his great faith and the miracles he had experienced, Elijah found himself struggling with fear. When Jezebel threatened to kill him, Elijah fled into the wilderness, where he fell into a deep state of despair and depression. In that moment of crisis, God spoke to him not with a storm, but with a small whisper, reassuring him of His presence and showing him the path to follow. Elijah learned that even in the darkest moments, God was with him.
The story of Elijah teaches us that even the most courageous and faithful can have moments of fear and despair. When we face difficulties or threats, we may feel overwhelmed, but God encourages us not to give up. Even in moments of loneliness and despair, He is near, ready to speak to us and guide us. Our faith does not depend on circumstances, but on the knowledge that God is with us at all times, even when we cannot see Him or hear Him clearly.
About this Plan

God has a strange habit: He chooses the imperfect and unsuitable people to do His great works. Not superheroes, not the strongest or the bravest, but precisely those who feel too weak, insecure and, let's face it, sometimes even a little disastrous. And yet, it is precisely on them that God builds His plan, transforming them with His love and grace. A bit like a craftsman who takes a block of rough marble and, with patience and mastery, creates an extraordinary work.
