The Strength of WeaknessSample

Moses: the man of a thousand excuses
Moses was not born a self-confident leader. Raised as a prince in Egypt, one day he acted on impulse and killed an Egyptian who killed an Israelite. Forced to flee, he took refuge in the desert of Midian, where for 40 years he lived as a shepherd, far from any ambition. It seemed that his story was over there, but God had other plans.
One day, before a burning bush that burned without being consumed, God called him for an impossible mission: to free the people of Israel from slavery in Egypt. But Moses was not at all enthusiastic. He immediately made excuses: “Who am I to do it?” Then, when God assured him of His presence, Moses insisted: “What if they don’t believe me?”. As if that were not enough, he added: “I am not a good speaker.” Finally, in desperation, he said: “Send someone else!”.
But God was not convinced by his objections. He gave him miraculous signs to gain the trust of the people, assured him of His constant guidance, and, to help him with his insecurity in speaking, sent his brother Aaron as a spokesman. Despite his fears, Moses surrendered to the divine plan and became the leader God had chosen.
Ultimately, the insecure shepherd became the deliverer of Israel, the one who faced Pharaoh, saw the Red Sea part, and received the Law at Sinai. God took a man full of doubts and transformed him into the greatest prophet of the Old Testament.
Many believers feel inadequate when God calls them to serve. Like Moses, we find ourselves thinking, “I’m not good enough” or “I can’t do it.” But God doesn’t look for perfect people; He looks for available people. When God calls, He doesn’t leave us alone; He gives us the resources, strength, and guidance to carry out His plan. The story of Moses teaches us that it doesn’t matter how insecure we are, it matters who is with us. When God is with us, even the impossible becomes possible.
About this Plan

God has a strange habit: He chooses the imperfect and unsuitable people to do His great works. Not superheroes, not the strongest or the bravest, but precisely those who feel too weak, insecure and, let's face it, sometimes even a little disastrous. And yet, it is precisely on them that God builds His plan, transforming them with His love and grace. A bit like a craftsman who takes a block of rough marble and, with patience and mastery, creates an extraordinary work.
