Prayer Initiative : RevelationSample

Today we elevate. We are lifted together with the Apostle John as high as the heavens, where we see a throne. Someone, with the appearance of Jasper and Ruby, is sitting on it. A rainbow shines like an emerald and encircles the throne, accompanied by flashes of lightning, rumblings, and peals of thunder. In front of the throne is what looks like a sea of glass, clear as crystal. Twenty-four elders, dressed in white and with crowns of gold on their heads are sitting on twenty-four thrones, surrounding the throne in the center. Four living creatures, each with six wings and covered with eyes, repeat day and night:

"Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty,

Who was, and is, and is to come."

The twenty-four elders fall before Him Who sits on the throne and worship Him Who lives forever and ever. They cast their golden crowns and proclaim: "You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things and by Your will they were created and have their being."

Take a moment to ponder on what you've read and respond to God in prayer.

When you have the possibility today, take a good look at the sky and imagine that door that opened for John. Worship the Lamb.

PRAYER

• Pray for your holiness. Acknowledge the holiness of God and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal and remove any impurity. Confess, repent, and accept His full forgiveness and cleansing.
• Pray for the struggles you see in the lives of your disciples.
• Pray for the holiness of your church.
• Pray for the Bride of Christ in general, to be holy and blameless – a strong testimony to the world.
