Faith empowers us to accomplish the impossible. It enables us to grasp the unattainable. It allows us to believe in the incomprehensible. It grants us the knowledge of the inexplicable.

This is what I like to refer to as “the foolishness.”

I am not ashamed of the Gospel. It holds the power to save those who believe and is foolishness to those who perish.

As Nicodemus aptly put it, “How can we be born again? Do we crawl back into the womb and be born a second time?”

Of course not! But at least, those of us reading this, know that we have been born again. However, how does this happen?

Faith!

How do we acquire faith?

God bestows it upon us. That is why we call it the gift of faith.

Romans 10:17 proclaims, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”

Through faith, we are saved.

Without faith, it is impossible to please the Lord.

Faith enables us to comprehend that God created the heavens and the earth.

What a gift faith is! Do not question, analyse, or doubt it. Simply live with it, walk by it, and trust in it.

Ephesians 3:14-21 expresses "our reverence to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the entire family in heaven and earth is named. We pray that He would grant us, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man. This way, Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith. As rooted and grounded in love, we may be able to comprehend the fullness of what is wide, long, deep, and high—the love of Christ that surpasses all knowledge. May we be filled with all the fullness of God!

To Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen."

Faith enables us to believe in the things we can’t comprehend.

Faith allows us to comprehend the things we can’t comprehend.

God bestows faith upon us. So, seek it out. God yearns to be desired.

Prayer

Lord, thank you for the gift of faith you give. I receive this gift with joy and expectation. May I walk by faith today, daring to dream and believe for things greater than my understanding. Amen
