The Courage to Speak: A Journey in the Book of EstherSample
Esther was never supposed to be in Persia. She should have been in Jerusalem with her people who had returned from exile when they were set free. Yet God had different plans - plans far greater than anyone could have imagined.
Her story reminds us that sometimes being in what feels like the "wrong" place is precisely where God intends us to be. For Esther, the Persian palace - foreign territory for a Jewish girl - became the very ground where God would use her to save her people.
This journey demanded immense courage. Each step required Esther to choose faith over fear, knowing that standing up for her people could cost her life. Her words, "If I perish, I perish" (Esther 4:16), echo through history as a testament to bold faith. She had no guarantees - only trust in God's faithfulness and a heart willing to obey. Yet she believed that God had prepared her for "such a time as this."
In God's kingdom, there are no coincidences. Every apparent detour, every closed door, every situation that seems to have taken us far from our expected path - He can use it all for His purposes. Esther's story beautifully illustrates that God's positioning, though sometimes mysterious, is always purposeful.
Look at where you are right now. Perhaps it feels like the wrong place, or maybe you believe you've wandered from your intended path. But what if, just like Esther, this is your divine positioning? God never wastes a placement. When surrendered to Him, every position holds purpose and every situation becomes sacred ground.
Today, I encourage you to walk in courage. Trust His positioning, embrace your place, and step forward boldly, knowing that your life - exactly where you are - holds opportunities for His glory.
