Financial Discipleship – the Bible on TaxesSample

The laws and rules we follow may not be what we think are right. But God instructs us to obey. Nothing exempts us. No seat, no influence, no amount of money.
We all do our part. When taxes are high and when they are low, we trust that God will provide for us.
If we go against the grain and hold on to what we think is right by evading authority, we’re ultimately telling our Father we choose not to hold on to His plan.
We are behaving as though we don’t trust His judgment. We are acting as though His decision to allow that person to sit in that seat was a bad one.
For every choice we make, there is a consequence. What good is it to do good for ourselves and harm the rest?
Part of living righteously means to live obediently... faithfully. And in God’s timing we will be rewarded for our obedience.
