Financial Discipleship – the Bible on TaxesSample

“Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.”
— Romans 13:1 (NKJV)
While others around lose sleep and worry throughout their day because of what some political leader may or may not enforce, we must maintain a sense of peace.
Not because we agree or disagree with what goes on in the day to day of government. Not because we are unaffected. Not because we have no sense of empathy for what others may have to endure.
We have peace because we are the Lord’s.
Peace be with you, because our Father does not allow anyone to sit in a position without Him designing it that way.
Tax cuts, tax hikes, tax write-offs… The trajectory of your life will not be altered because of these things, but by your faith in God.
What authority says is theirs, is theirs. And what God says is His… is His (Matthew 22:21).
