DAY 3 OF 5

Day 3: Creating Sacred Space–Your Environment as a Place of Rest

Scripture:
“The Lord will give strength to his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.” – Psalm 29:11 (ESV)

Reflection:

As moms, our homes are often the heart of everything we do—yet, it can also be the place where we feel drained, overwhelmed, and mentally exhausted. But it doesn’t have to be that way. By intentionally creating spaces that promote rest and rejuvenation, we can recharge our souls. Whether it's a cozy reading nook or a prayer corner, having a designated space that brings you peace can help restore your mental energy and keep you grounded.

Practical Tip:

  • Create a “sacred” space in your home—somewhere you can go for a few quiet moments each day. It could be as simple as a comfortable chair by the window or a spot on your bed with your Bible and journal.
  • Even if you can’t find a lot of time, just five minutes in a peaceful corner can make a big difference in how you feel.

Prayer:

Father, I invite Your peace into my home. Help me to create spaces that nurture my soul and give me rest. Thank You for the quiet moments that refresh my spirit and bring me closer to You. Amen.
