In Psalm 37, David calls us to “trust in the Lord and do good,” reminding us that true peace comes from a heart fully surrendered to God. Surrendering to God isn’t a passive act; it’s an active choice to trust Him with our lives, desires, and plans. The Holy Spirit invites us to this kind of surrender, teaching us to let go of control and trust God’s wisdom and timing.
In John 12, Mary anoints Jesus’ feet with costly perfume, a profound act of love and surrender. Her devotion exemplifies a heart willing to give all for Christ. The Spirit calls us to live in this same surrender, honoring Jesus with our time, resources, and love. When we surrender to God, we experience true freedom, letting go of our own desires and aligning our hearts with His.
Today, ask the Holy Spirit to lead you in a deeper surrender. Lay down any burdens, fears, or desires before Him, and let Him fill you with peace. As you trust in God’s plans, may your life be a reflection of love and devotion, honoring Christ in all you do.
