DAY 107 OF 365

Day 107 of 365

In Judges 9, Abimelech’s story reveals the destructive nature of pride and self-exaltation, contrasting sharply with the humility God desires. Abimelech’s pride leads to his downfall, reminding us that true greatness is found not in seeking power but in submitting to God’s authority. The Holy Spirit teaches us that humility opens the door to God’s blessings and allows His power to work through us. In surrendering pride, we invite the Spirit to shape us in Christ’s likeness.

In Luke 14, Jesus emphasizes humility, inviting us to take the lowest place and to live lives marked by compassion and generosity. The Spirit guides us in this path of humility, transforming our hearts to serve others with love, rather than seeking recognition or status.

Today, ask the Spirit to help you surrender any pride and to cultivate a heart of humility. Let Him guide you to live a life that reflects Jesus’ servant-hearted love, placing others before yourself and allowing God’s strength to shine through your humility.
