As the Good Shepherd, what promises does Jesus make regarding His sheep?
Jesus often spoke in metaphors which left many who heard him confused. Jesus proclaimed, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” He also warned of ‘thieves’ who come to steal, kill, and destroy. In response, some Jews accused Him of being crazy and of being demon-possessed. While Jesus was teaching about having eternal life, those who were angered by His words attempted to stone him.
