Now Is The Time: Acts Children's JourneySample
Day 25
Talk to God
“God, sometimes it’s hard to talk about Jesus. Help me be faithful to tell others—even if they won’t believe.”
Read the Bible
Acts 24:10-27
Read and find out who wanted to hear what Paul had to say about Jesus.
Do you know what it means to be faithful? When someone is faithful, they can be depended on or trusted. It would have been easy for Paul to give up talking about Jesus when some people got very angry. But Paul was faithful. God could count on Paul to tell others about His Son, Jesus. Even after Paul was arrested, he still told the truth that Jesus is the only way to be saved from sin.
Felix, the governor, wanted to hear what Paul had to say. But after listening, he would not admit it was true. Paul had to stay a prisoner for a long time, but he never stopped telling others about Jesus, his Savior.
Think About It
If you know Jesus as your Savior, God can help you to be faithful to share the truth about Jesus—even if others won’t believe.
Do Something About It
Here are some ways you can faithfully share the truth about Jesus:
- Think of something true about God for which you are thankful. Tell God first, then go and tell someone else how great God is.
- Find a verse in the Bible that is special to you and show it to a friend or family member who might not know Jesus.
If you need a suggestion for a verse to share with someone, look up John 3:16 or Ephesians 2:8-9. You can also share one of the verses from Acts that you memorized on this journey!
