Have you ever felt afraid to say something? Maybe it was because you didn’t know how someone would respond, didn’t know how to say what you wanted, or were afraid you’d say the wrong thing altogether. If you’ve ever been in a situation like that, you know how easily it shakes your confidence! That’s when remembering that you have God’s Spirit with you can help.

As a follower of Jesus, the things we do become less difficult when we remember we’re not doing them alone. We have a supporter, a helper, a friend, and an advocate to give us confidence, strength, and even the words we need when we need them. When we can trust that, we never have to let fear hold us back!

This week, think about one area where you struggle to find confidence. Maybe it’s speaking up about something, trying something new, or even sharing your faith. Pray that you would feel God’s Spirit in that part of your life and ask for confidence to take a step in that direction with confidence!
