Kingdom Legacy

When I was young, I made quick decisions without truly thinking about the repercussions. Now, at this time in my life, I have grown wiser. Every decision I make and all of my actions are so much more important to me. I am not worried about getting older or death, but I am much more aware and sensitive to what stimulates life and growth. I am preparing to leave a legacy for my children’s children. It is years of faithfulness and dedication to God. It is a passion to teach His Word. It is a commitment to serve others. It is a rally to be Kingdom-minded and an influencer in this world for the Lord. It is a race to be kind, loving, humble and merciful. Everyday my life must have impact and depth and meaning; it must be specific and remain intentional. My generation is on my mind. My children are on my mind. My children’s children are on my mind. I have what they need inside of me and when they pray for it and ask God to give them answers—it will be there—the legacy that God has invested in me, and I have walked out daily—I am making sure it will be there as a beacon light for them to follow.
