Hebrews 1

Verse 3 says, "The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of His being, sustaining all things by His powerful Word. After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven."

Let's meditate on that reality for a moment. Holy Spirit, we ask that You reveal to us this image of the Son of God seated at the right hand of the Father right now.

Pause and reflect.

What a beautiful picture of this reality—our King Jesus, the Father, and the fountain of light seated in glory. The lyrics "Let us behold him, isn't He fascinating?" come to mind, and the power of what it is like to truly behold the Son overwhelms me in all the best ways.

If we can just quiet our minds for a moment, allow our thoughts to cease, and behold Him, I believe by His power alone, we can experience this "peace" that is available to us. We can witness and grasp this peace that surpasses all understanding. This peace sustains us, knowing Jesus, our King, truly conquers and has conquered all fear, all doubt, all shame, and all intrusive thoughts. He is waiting to be with you today.

He is who He says He is, our sustainer and our redeemer.

As I write this, I'm sitting in the middle of a crowded airport and tears are welling up at this reality that is available not just to myself, but for you who are reading this and to every person under the sun who was created in His image and for this glory. I feel the radiance of the Son, His glory, His joy, His delight. I don't know what battle you are facing today but I can tell you that His presence is the solution.

Prayer: Father, I pray for a deeper revelation of what it means to love You and be loved by You. Thank you that You are available to me right now, and that Your presence is for me to experience every day for all of eternity. Amen.
