Living In The Kingdom Of God
Throughout the Bible, it has been prophesied that the Kingdom of God will come to take dominion upon the earth. In Matthew 3:2, John the Baptist prophesied of the Kingdom of Heaven saying, “Repent ye: for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand”. Here, John was speaking of Jesus coming to die for mankind, taking back dominion, and giving mankind once again the authority to rule and reign over the earth.
The Kingdom of God is in us. God lives in us and He empowers us to do great and mighty works through Him.
In a kingdom, a king sets rules to protect the kingdom and his subjects. Jesus Christ, who is our King, also has set rules to protect His Kingdom from His enemy. He has set a standard by which the Kingdom of God is governed. This standard is found in His Word, the Bible.
In the Kingdom, God’s will supersedes our will. Trying to get our needs met outside of God’s will is illegal. The key ingredient to succeed, according to the King’s way, is to first walk in love. Love is the standard for godly success.
