King & KingdomsSample

Learning who we can trust for guidance is one of the most critical markers of our lives. For King Rehoboam, this was a make it or break it lesson. When he had the chance to learn from his father's mistakes and seek God's guidance on the issues of his day, he chose to go a different route. He turned to friends who pointed him anywhere but God. And the result? His kingdom was torn apart.
Yet, at his fingertips all along was the massive gift of direct access to God. Rehoboam could have asked God for guidance through prayer at any point. All he had to do was ask! But he turned to friends instead, and more people than just him suffered.
