You Got This: 14 Devotions to Equip & Empower Hard-Working WomenSample
Nothing by Mistake
For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. JEREMIAH 29:11 TLB
Sometimes we wonder why certain people, situations, or jobs enter our lives. We have to remember that we only see what we see. God connects us to people who will help change us for the good. When we lose friends, relationships, or jobs we thought were gifts, God can use those situations to redirect our paths. He is always there for us, and His will for our lives is always more important than the losses we endure. Nothing He creates is by mistake. Nothing you’ve gone through wasn’t allowed or meant to be. He is there through the pain, and He brings us through seasons of sorrow. He is there when we rejoice! He never leaves us, even when we feel like we’re alone. He brings things and people in and out of our lives. He does it all for our good. It’s hard to see the “why” when we are in a mess, but when we look back, we can see that it was used for His glory.
You Got This!
Think of a time you were waiting for what you have now—maybe a new house, a friendship, or a certain relationship. Don’t you wish you could have relaxed during that time versus being worried and or anxious for the day it would happen? That’s what God wants from us: He wants us to give our waiting to Him and enjoy this beautiful life in the meantime. He already wrote your story before you were born, He knows what’s best for you, and His story for you is better than you could ever imagine. Don’t try to do it on your own—let Him work through you to make all things good.

About this Plan
It’s easy for women to get wrapped up in all that we do and then forget who God created us to be. We all need encouragement and grace daily. This 14-day Bible plan helps women by focusing on how we’re blessed. Each entry reminds us to tap into God’s strength, develop a healthy view of success and failure, and learn to accept ourselves as God’s unique creations.
