What Color Is God’s Love?Sample
Day 6: Trust in God!
“Green gives me confidence, so I'm ready to try. With God, I can climb mountains, no matter how high.”
God promises to help all His children when we call on Him in prayer. He sends people to work alongside us, the church. When we feel afraid or nervous, we can be honest with God. God has compassion. We can ask Him to be our strength instead of just asking Him to give us strength. We can be confident because God is with us and in us. He works for and through us so we can say, “Yes, Lord!”
Activity:
What is one challenging task that you would like God to help you do? Write that difficult task on a piece of paper. Fold the paper in half and place it in an envelope.
As you decorate that envelope with colorful pictures that remind you about God’s goodness, love, hope, and power, ask God to be your strength, send you support, and give you all the confidence you need to climb that mountain with Him and the friends He places by your side.
Pray:
Almighty God, thanks for always protecting and providing for me so I can do hard things with You by my side. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
