What Color Is God’s Love?Sample
Day 1: We Can Know Love!
What is the color of love? That’s a BIG question!
“God is Love!” That’s an ENORMOUS statement! What does it mean? Reading the Bible is like looking for buried treasures.
The apostle John gave us a few gems in 1 John 4. He said God, the Father sent God the Son—Jesus—to save the world. If we accept Jesus as our Savior, He gives us God the Spirit, who helps us live and love like Jesus! The One True God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—knows us and invites us to know Him. God is Love.
Activity:
On a sheet of paper, draw a cross with a heart in the middle where the two pieces of wood connect. As you color that cross and heart, talk about what you know about Jesus. Think about what Jesus did for the world on the cross—the greatest act of love. What would you tell a friend if you wanted to let them know they could trust Jesus?
Pray:
Amazing God, please help me to know You, trust You, love You, and live for You more and more each day! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
