Renewal of Trust in God’s Timing
Time is a creation of God, just like we are, and God exists beyond time. In Psalm 31, the Psalmist says, “My times are in your hands." God holds our time in His hands. He is timeless and exists in eternity, but here we are encased in a brief journey through time before we also enter eternity and spend it with Him. So, while it is frustrating to see things not work according to our timelines here on earth, we must trust that God, the creator of time, is looking at eternity and knows when something must come our way and if it must come our way at all!
While that is hard to wrap our heads around, the least we can do on this side of eternity is continuously ask God to renew our trust in His timing and His ways.
I encourage you to be intentional in submitting your plans to Him, trusting His timing is perfect. As you hope in the Lord, let your strength be renewed, and your paths be made straight.
