Building Rock Solid FaithSample

Build a Monument
When God’s people crossed the Jordan River and set foot in the Promised Land, Joshua asked them to build a memorial of stacked stones to remember that God always fulfills His promises (Joshua 4:4-7).
As God answers your prayers or when a Scripture passage is especially meaningful to you, you can follow the Israelites’ example. Find some small rocks and stack them in your yard as a monument. Construct whatever shape you like. Then thank God for His power and for being real in your life.
Every time you see those stacked rocks, you’ll remember that special time with God. You can go to that “monument” again and again to pray and thank God for His goodness. Just remember, this monument is not to show off to friends. It’s about honoring God and your relationship with Him.
