Have you ever seen someone do something you thought was impossible? Well, that is exactly how Jesus’ disciples felt when they saw Him walking on the water. Out on a boat, they certainly didn’t expect to see anyone walking up to them. Not only did they question what or who they were seeing, they were afraid of what was to come. You can imagine their relief when they realized it was Jesus! Well, the lesson the disciples learned in that experience is one we can learn today. When we’re afraid, we can be confident that Jesus is with us. Because of that, we can have courage when we are afraid.

Pray today that Jesus would bring you the courage you need to not just face your fears but know He is with you as you do.
