With all the fears that might be playing on repeat in our minds, it can be hard to have complete confidence or trust that God can (and will!) work things out for good. Well, while that fear is really loud a lot of the time, it’s important to remember that God’s voice is louder. When fears continue to come up in our minds, we can choose to trust God. We can choose to listen to what’s true. We have the promise that God is always with us and will always fulfill promises. That is a truth that has the power to drown out fear.

The next time you hear fear on the playlist in your mind, stop and say aloud, “God’s voice is louder!” Remind yourself of what’s true, and choose a new playlist.
