When we’re bragging about ourselves, we don’t tend to focus on our weaknesses. Instead, we bring attention to our strengths—to the things we do well. But have you ever thought you could actually get excited about your weaknesses? That’s because our struggles can actually be opportunities to show God’s power. When you follow God, you don’t have to be ashamed of your weaknesses or the things that make you feel like you’re not enough. It’s in those places that God’s strength will shine the brightest.
Reach out to your small group leader today and ask them for encouragement to see God’s power in your weaknesses. Ask them to help you find a way to focus your thoughts on how God uses all parts of who you are to show that, in God, you’re enough.
