Conversations To ConnectionsSample
Start with Praise
If you had the same conversation with someone every day, you might feel a need for something more refreshing. Since prayer is a conversation, the same holds true when talking with God. If you find yourself frequently telling God the same things, in the same way, you might consider ways to change things up. Melissa Spoelstra shares an idea that she used with her children.

No matter what your age, taking time to focus on Who God is and giving Him praise is a perfect way to begin our prayers. Why don’t you take time this week to write out a list of God’s attributes. Then, begin your conversations with God by sharing the things that you appreciate about Him. As you do, you will discover a freshness to your prayer life that will bring you great joy!

About this Plan
Viewing prayer as an ongoing conversation with God is a great way to develop a life of prayer. We should seek to move those conversations to heart-felt connections with God. Each of the five days contains a short audio message (1-2 minutes). The guests talk about what they have learned about connecting with God in prayer. We cover intimacy, praise, consistency, praying always and surrender to Jesus.
