#Jesus - Daily DevotionalsSample
#ReadyToGive (Sibylle Beck)
How great is it that I have the possibility of making decisions over and over again and on a daily basis? I don’t have to remain the way I have always been. Every day I have the possibility of taking control of my life and changing something! Isn’t that awesome!
Perhaps in the past few days you have felt that it is not so easy for you to let go of your money for God’s concerns. Do not be disappointed in yourself, but daily, give God a chance to win you over for his concerns.
Maybe you noticed that Jesus uses an unexpected time form in this text. He uses the future. It is written: “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also!” That means, where your treasure is, where you collect your treasure, where you are generous, that is where your heart will be! Our expenses do not only follow our heart, but our heart also follows our expenses.
The good news is that I can steer my heart! I can lead my heart to where I invest. If you want a heart which holds on to Jesus, then start investing in what concerns Jesus.
Actionstep:
Will you allow the Holy Spirit to lead your heart today? Ask him in which of Jesus’ concerns you should invest money? Which amount? Take a decision and then make a transfer today.
