Romans - Part 1: SINSample

Romans 2:24 Wake Up Call!
Ever had a real wake-up call? Maybe a phone call, a bank account balance, a conversation, or something that you experienced that woke you up to a reality or truth that you knew you needed to do something about? There was a change that needed to be made or a way of thinking and attitude that had to be corrected.
Ever been called out by someone who cares about you, regarding something hurtful you were doing and told how it was impacting others?
This is the kind of wake-up call that we find in this verse. Paul is basically saying that those who don’t know God are being turned off by God because of the words and actions of those who claim to know and follow God. So, the wake-up call is simple:
“What are people saying about God because of you and me?”
Do our lives draw people to Jesus or make others want to have nothing to do with Him? Is there a disconnect between who we claim to believe in and our words and actions? Is it all about God or about us?
