What is holy living without love?
We love because God first loved us. We were knitted together in our mother’s womb in and for love. It is not the kind of love that loves because it has to or should. The love that the Spirit of Jesus accompanies is the kind of love that is EAGER to act.
Eager to serve.
Eager to forgive.
Eager to fight for.
Eager for intimacy.
Out of obedience to the Word and truth, this love flows. Friend, we must purify our hearts for a sincere love like this. We must give God our whole heart so He can give us His.
What kind of love are you living out?
Remember that as you love people around you, you are modeling for them the love of Jesus. Today, I encourage you to love others with the patience, forgiveness, compassion, sacrifice, and grace God has shown you.

- Is the love you experience one that is eager to act? In what ways?
- How can you be eager to love those who you come in contact with?
- Spend some time journaling today about what you believe to be true about the love of God.
