If you could see the future, what would you do with that information? Would you grab the next Powerball numbers? Would you invent the next gadget to push the world forward? Or maybe you would use it to become a hero, preventing tragedies and saving lives?

Regardless of what you choose to do, we are all united in the fact that we would be faced with the same decision. The decision to use it for good or evil. Personal gain or corporate gain. Or whether to use it at all. The choice is yours.

About 700 years before Jesus came to the earth, God’s people received the prophecy from Isaiah. And not only did the prophecy tell of the coming savior, but it also told God’s people that many would just miss it. They would reject the cornerstone, and not only would they reject it, but it would become a stumbling block for them. Seven hundred years before Jesus was born, God told His people that the man He was sending to establish His house would be rejected before becoming the cornerstone upon which the whole house is built. They were told it was coming, and many still missed it.

But here is the great news! You are presented with that same opportunity today! You’ve been allowed to know what’s coming and decide what to do with it. The “Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace” loves you and wants you to be part of His house forever! You simply need to say “yes” to Him.

You have the choice to build your life around the precious cornerstone of Jesus or reject Him. The choice is yours.
