Resilient: Powerful Hope in a Dangerous World

DAY 6 OF 45

Have you ever waited in anticipation for something? Maybe for the new season of your favorite TV series to air, or for your boyfriend to get down on one knee, for your kids to make their sports team tryouts, or for it to finally be payday (let’s be real)!

There is something special about patiently waiting for what you’re hopeful for. But there is something extra special about waiting for something you know will be even better than you hoped.

What if you saw God’s grace this way? What if you looked at God’s grace as the ultimate gift that keeps on giving?

Today, I want to invite you to prepare your mind and rest your hope fully in the grace that will be brought to you at the coming of King Jesus!

Friend, you can rest in the truth that the grace of God is not simply a past or even just a present grace. It’s also a future grace. It is a grace that will be brought to you. A grace you can embrace now while eagerly awaiting for it. A grace that keeps on getting better and better.

Oh, the depths and the riches of God’s good grace! What if we’ve only barely scratched the surface of God's vast grace?

Reflection Questions

  1. In what way do you understand the grace of God? Is your grace only a “past” grace?
  2. What’s your hope in today? What are you patiently waiting for? What truths are you preparing your mind to rest in?
