Test the Spirits

I was sitting under the apple tree and this beautiful heavenly angel appeared to me. And this is the message I received to pass onto the whole world…” Thus a new religion begins; a new ‘god’ is formed, prayed to and worshipped.
Satan deceived Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, causing them to disobey God. Jesus calls Satan a murderer and the father of lies (John 8:44). Apostle Paul warns us that Satan transforms himself into an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14).
God has given us His Word, called ‘The Bible’, to show us all things and to test all things. God will never go against His Word. If you really want to know how true the Bible is, then check out John 3, where Jesus talks about entering God’s kingdom only if a person is ‘born again’. A man can only be born again when he believes in his heart and confesses with his mouth that Jesus is Lord. If you are not born again, then you need to experience a total change of heart, mind and direction and enter into a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved.
God has shown us a sure way of testing spirits to see if they are of God or not. Every spirit that does not confess that Jesus came in the flesh is not of God and is a spirit of the anti-Christ (1 John 4:1-3). Question every spirit who comes to you with this test. Also, if their message does not match God’s Word, they are not of God. Isn’t it comforting to know that God stands for what He says? Isn’t it comforting to know that we cannot be taken for a ride when we follow God’s ways?

Prayer
Heavenly Father, give me a strong hunger and thirst for Your Word, the Bible, so I can be close to You and never be deceived. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
